El-Portal is a brand New cool portal view module for The Joomla CMS. Originally created for Banance health portal front page.
basically this module display seven content items for each section in a very cool structure.

1. Section name header - h2 tag.
2. First content item - large image.
3. Four content items - small image.
4. Two content items - no images.
5. list of categories for this section on the bottom.

This module come to give the developer more power when design the !Joomla frontpage. While working on a new community portal (www.karmel.co.il) we needed a way to present the content items of each category in the site on the forntpage of a joomla website. We also needed control over which category to diaplay and how many item will be display below.
